1. LES EA 45 (or ALES equivalent); GRE Quantitative 610
2. METU-EPE 70; TOEFL 227; IELTS7.0
3. Cumulative Grade Point Average 2,50/4,00-70/100
4. Letter of Intention shall be in English.
5. 2 Letters of Recommendation

2. Social Anthropology

Degrees Granted: Thesis Degree (M.S.)

 Requirements:

1. LES 50 (or ALES equivalent); GRE Quantitative or Verbal 648
2. METU-EPE 70; TOEFL 227; IELTS7.0
3. Applicants who are not from the METU Department of Sociology are required to submit 2 Reference Letters.
4. Letter of Intention shall be in English.
5. Cumulative Grade Point Average 2,50/4,00-70/100

3. German-Turkish Masters Program in Social Sciences (METU - Humboldt Dual Degree Program)

Degrees Granted: Non-Thesis Masters Degree (M.A.)

 Requirements:

1. B.A. or equivalent degree in any discipline of social sciences or humanities.
2. LES 45 (or ALES equivalent); GRE Quantitative or Verbal 610
3. METU-EPE 64,5; TOEFL 213; IELTS6,5
4. Cumulative Grade Point Average 2,50/4,00-70/100
5. Letter of Intention shall be in English.
6. 2 Letters of Recommendation
7. METU German Profeciency Exam to be given on the day of the interview (Intermediate Level=sufficent level of German to attend GER 205 course at the METU Department of Modern Languages)
8. CV (in English)
9. English writing sample (maximum 3000 words)

1. The deadline for the submission of English Proficiency Exam Score for the Master programs in Social Policy,German-Turkish Masters Program in Social Sciences (METU-Humboldt Dual Degree Porgram) and Social Anthropology is the 15th of September 2007.
